Lyriq Najm is the daughter and eldest child of an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer, T-Pain, which is what she is known for. T-Pain has worked with famous artists such as Wiz Khalifa, Akon, Pitbull, and Kanye West. He has sung many popular songs that hit the Billboard Hot 100 chart, Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart, and Billboard 200 many times. He presently appears as a judge in the competition series Go-Big Show. T-Pain is credited for mainstreaming the use of Auto-Tune pitch correction effect, creating distinctive vocal sounds, which influenced many popular artists including Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Kanye West, Snoop Dogg, and Future. His 2007 album Epiphany reached #1 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Born on March 14, 2004, Lyriq is the first child of T-Pain and Amber Najm. She has two younger siblings Muziq Najm (Born 24th of January, 2007) and Kaydnz Kodah Najm (Born 29th of April, 2009). Lyriq’s parents T-Pain and Amber Najm have been married for 19 years since 2003. Lyriq has two younger brothers Muziq and Kaydnz Kodah (born May 2009). Born on September 30, 1984, Faheem Rashad Najm, popularly known as T-Pain (acronym of Tallahasseefor Pain) was raised by his parents Aliyah, a Bahamian chef, and Shasheem, founder of the Homeboyz to Men program.

Lyriq’s father T-Pain after establishing his own label Nappy Boy Entertainment in 2005, released his debut album, Rappa Ternt Sanga the same year. His studio albums include Rappa Ternt Sanga (2005), Epiphany (2007), Three Ringz (2008), Revolver (2011), Oblivion (2017), 1UP (2019), and A Day Out With The Girls (TBA).

Lyriq’s father T-Pain appeared in films including Freaknik: The Musical (2010), Lottery Ticket (2010), Furious 7 (2015), The Boss (2016), and 2016 Ghostmates. He voiced in Robot Chicken (2009), The Cleveland Show (2011-13), Squidbillies (2011), We Bare Bears (2018), and Tom Cat in Tom & Jerry in 2021. In 2008 he hosted BET Hip Hop Awards and guest started on Saturday Night Live. In 2016, he appeared in the YouTube web series Epic Rap Battles of History as Stevie Wonder. He has won two Grammy awards including a Best Rap Song award in 2008 for “Good Life” and a Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2010 for “Blame It”. He received the BET Award for Best Collaboration and BET Hip Hop Award for Best Hip-Hop Video for “Good Life” in 2008 and the Best Collaboration award for “Blame It” in 2009.

Lyriq’s father, from his successful career as a rapper, songwriter, and voice artist, has raised a net worth of 10 million dollars. The rapper purchased a home in Winfield on the River gated subdivision in Duluth, Georgia for $1.32 million in 2007. He bought a home in Palm Beach County, Florida, which he lost in foreclosure due to nonpayment of an $85,800 loan that he took from Deutsche Bank in 2007 for the property. He received 12 Grammy Award nominations and two awards throughout his career. With more than  50 chart-topping singles from 2006 to 2010,  his debut single “Low” with Flo Rida has been certified diamond (10× platinum) by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). He is also the winner of the BMI Urban Award for Song Writer Of The Year.
