Marcella Belle Rinehart was a famous media personality and wife of the late American actor Fess Parker. A professionally trained actress, dancer, and singer, Marcella performed in a ton of concerts, theatrical productions, and nightclubs globally during her flourishing career. She was born on 18th March 1928 in Des Moines.

A rare talent. Marcella had a unique, versatile voice that allowed her to portray various characters ranging from children to grown-ass adults. She voiced a ton of commercials, websites, audiobooks, and corporate training videos. She also worked as an announcer for events and trade shows.

The woman of all trades also worked in California at Penny- Owsley Music Store, where she sang at Zebra Room. In Korea, she entertained U.S. troops.

Aside from being a starlet, Marcella was also an avid interior designer. In addition, she was instrumental in designing and launching their family winery, Fess Parker Family Winery and Vineyards, located in Los Olivos, California.

Marcella Reinhart, unfortunately, passed away on 5th April 2019 at her home in Santa Barbara, California. Marcella will be fondly remembered as a pioneer who broke ground for and encouraged women looking to join the media personality field.

The Husband: Fess Parker

Fess Elisha Parker Jr. is an American actor famous for portraying Davy Crockett in the Walt Disney miniseries (1954 – 1955). Aside from being a professional actor, Fess Parker was also a revered winemaker and resort owner.

Fess Parker was born on 16th August 1924 in Fort Worth, Texas, to a tax assessor and raised in Tom Green County near San Angelo. After Fess was discharged from the United States Marine Corps, Fess enrolled at Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene, Texas. He later graduated from UT with a degree in History in 1950. Fess also pursued a master’s degree in theatre history at the University of Southern California.

As an actor, Fess Parker became a contract payer with Warner Bros. and appeared in various films like Island in the Sky, Springfield Rifle (1952), The Bounty Hunter, and Battle Cry.

After exiting the acting scene, Fess Parker spent most of his time running the family winery in Los Olivos, California.

However, the American pioneer died of natural causes on 18th March 2010 in Santa Ynez, California, and was laid to rest afterward in the Santa Barbara Cemetery.

Family Life

Marcy and Parker first met at a swimming pool complex when attending a Hollywood fashion event. The pair got engaged and later married on 18th January 1960 at El Montecito Presbyterian Church in Montecito. They were blessed with eleven grandchildren and two children, Fess Elisha Parker III and Ashley Allen Rinehart.

The couple opened a winery, Fess Parker Family Winery and Vineyards together, which has produced several award-winning wines. Marcella led the location search for the vineyard and further designed the winery’s tasting room. It is currently run by their two kids, with Eli as the president and director of vineyard operations. At the same time, Ashley is the marketing and sales vice president.
